Led partnership with Apple as launch partner for Final Cut Pro workflow extensions overseeing all marketing and creative touch points. Worked in lock-step with Apple team to produce joint marketing creative assets including writing and directing the project’s launch promo which was selected for used as demo video during FCP Creative Summit at Apple’s offices in Cupertino.
Leading a team at a fast moving start-up means being willing to step into many roles when necessary. This time it was writer/ director.
We built a small team around DP, Joe Simon and shot in 6 locations in the Portland Oregon area.
The promo was written to demonstrate the full functionality of our new FCP X workflow extension along with our web app and iOS app.
